​7 bedrooms have King beds, and 1 bedroom has 2 single beds, if required these can be joined by request.

Kawau Lodge is perfect for extended family and staying guests. A large entertaining deck welcomes in panoramic and restful views out to the bay with a lovely connection to the surrounding bush.

 

Kawau Lodge kitchen- large modern white kitchen with stone benchtop and stainless fixtures. Kitchen has all necessary equipment, such as: microwave, dishwasher, electric oven, fridge, cutlery, glasses, plates, coffee machine.

 

    Kawau Lodge is self catering accommodation.

Lounge room has fireplace, sofas, TV, table, is perfect for family meetings, friends’ celebrations, and conferences.

 

Guests can reach Kawau Lodge from the mainland within 30 minutes via public ferry which leaves several times daily from Sandspit Wharf, being a small coastal settlement approximately 5 kilometers east of the town of Warkworth, which is situated approx 40 minutes from Auckland via the Northern Motorway System. Access to the island is also available by booking a private water taxi with Kawau Cruisers which also leaves from Sandspit Wharf.

For guests arriving via private vessel Kawau Lodge has its own deep water mooring.
