From Kawau Lodge take a short jaunt up through the bush to the ridgeline where you can enjoy a pleasant walk through natives forest.
Getting to Kawau Lodge
Arriving at Kawau Lodge by private boat, there is a large wharf accessible at all tides, plus a smaller wharf and boat ramp available to access when the tide allows.

The fleet of safe, high speed and comfortable Water Taxis are driven by professional skippers who have years of local experience. They operate a water service and regular shuttle service to Kawau Lodge. Trip from Sandspit Wharf directly to Kawau Lodge will take around 25 minutes.
